Blanxer POS Now Supports Direct FonePAY Billing API Integration for Businesses

We’re excited to announce a major upgrade to the Blanxer POS system — FonePay Billing API integration.

With this new integration, businesses using Blanxer POS can now connect their own FonePay merchant account directly to their POS system and receive payments straight into their own bank account, without intermediaries.

This makes Blanxer POS one of the few platforms in Nepal that supports true merchant-level QR billing integration across multiple POS outlets.

What Is FonePay Billing API Integration?

FonePAY Billing API is a merchant-level payment interface provided by banks for billing software and POS systems.

Unlike normal QR payments:

  • There is no per-transaction commission

  • There is no integration fee

  • Payments go directly to the merchant’s bank account

  • Payment confirmation happens instantly inside the POS system

Blanxer has now fully integrated this billing API into the POS interface.

How Businesses Can Activate FonePay Billing API on Blanxer POS

Step 1: Request FonePay Billing API from Your Bank

Businesses first need to request FonePay Billing API access from their bank.

Important note when requesting:

Tell the bank that you need the API for billing software / POS system integration*.*

This is important because:

  • Billing software use cases usually come with zero transaction fees

  • No API setup cost is charged by the bank

Once approved, the bank will provide:

  • Merchant ID

  • Secret Key

  • Merchant App Username

  • Merchant App Password

Step 2: Login to Blanxer Dashboard

Go to:

https://app.blanxer.com

Then navigate to:

Dashboard → POS → Integration → FonePAY Integration

Step 3: Enter Your FonePay Credentials

You will see the following fields:

After entering the details, simply save the integration.

Step 4: Start Accepting Payments From POS

Once integration is completed:

  • Open Blanxer POS

  • Create an order

  • Click on QR Payment option

Your own business QR code will automatically appear.

Customer scans the QR → makes payment → payment is confirmed instantly → order is completed.

No manual verification required.
