Bulk SMS with Blanxer: A Simple, Step-by-Step Guide

You already enjoy event-based SMS from Blanxer (e.g., order placed → auto SMS). Now, if you want to reach many customers at once—for offers, win-backs, or updates—use our Bulk SMS Tool hosted at ai.blanxer.tech. This post walks you through everything: credits, setup, connecting your Blanxer store, filtering customers, composing, and sending.

What you can do today

  • Event SMS (built-in): Lives inside app.blanxer.com → BlanxerSMS. Triggers automatically after specific events (order placed, delivered, etc.).

  • Bulk SMS (separate app): Lives at ai.blanxer.tech. Lets you target segments (e.g., delivered customers, abandoned orders) and send campaigns in one go.

Tip: Use Event SMS for transactional messages. Use Bulk SMS for marketing, announcements, reactivation, and festival offers.

1) Credit: Load once, use anywhere

  • Go to app.blanxer.com → BlanxerSMS and load SMS credit.

  • The same credit is used/checked when sending via the Bulk SMS Tool.

You must have enough credit to send your campaign. The tool will auto-check before sending and show if your balance is sufficient.

2) Create your account in ai.blanxer.tech

Bulk SMS runs on a separate instance with more tools coming soon.

  1. Visit ai.blanxer.tech.

  2. Sign up and log in.

  • This login is different from your Blanxer (app.blanxer.com) login.

3) Connect your Blanxer store (one-time)

To securely pull your store’s segments (delivered customers, inactive/abandoned orders):

  1. In your browser, open app.blanxer.com and log in to your store.

  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + I (or Right-click → Inspect) to open Developer Tools.

  3. Go to Application (tab) → Local Storage → select your app.blanxer.com origin.

  4. Copy these two values:

    • access token

    • storeId

  1. In ai.blanxer.tech, go to Settings and paste the Access Code (access token) and Blanxer Store ID (storeId)

  2. Save.

Note: Your order statuses in Blanxer must be accurate—only orders marked Delivered will appear as “Delivered Customers” in the Bulk SMS Tool.

4) Open the Bulk SMS plugin

  1. In ai.blanxer.tech, open the BulkSMS plugin and click Use Plugin.

  2. You’ll see two segments:

    • Delivered Customers → all customers with orders marked Delivered.

    • Inactive Orders (Abandoned) → customers who initiated but didn’t complete orders.

Filter further by Min LTV, Max LTV, City, or other available criteria to tighten your audience.

5) Compose your message

  1. Click Compose SMS.

  2. Write your message. Keep it clear and actionable.

  3. Always add your Store Name at the end (branding + trust).

    • Example: “— Blanxer Supply”

  4. Click Next to review.

Credit check happens automatically.

  • If your credit is insufficient, you’ll see a notice to top up in app.blanxer.com → BlanxerSMS.

  • If you have enough credit, you can proceed to send.

6) Send and track

  • Hit Send to deliver the campaign to all filtered customers.

  • You’ll see success/failure feedback. Keep an eye on delivery status and responses (if applicable).

Best-practice tips (read before blasting)

  • Segment smartly:

    • Delivered Customers: perfect for review requests, cross-sells, and loyalty offers.

    • Inactive/Abandoned: perfect for cart reminders, limited-time discounts, or FAQ links.

  • Be concise: SMS is short-form. Put the value up front (offer/date/CTA).

  • Identify yourself: Always end with your Store Name (required).

  • Respect timing: Avoid late-night sends; stick to business hours.

  • Mind the credits:

    • Standard English SMS: 160 characters = 1 credit; multi-part messages use 153 chars per part.

    • Unicode/Nepali or emojis: 70 characters = 1 credit; multi-part uses 67 chars per part.

    • Mixing a single emoji or Nepali character makes the whole SMS Unicode → fewer characters per credit.

  • Compliance & consent: Send only to customers you have a legitimate relationship with. Honor opt-outs when requested.

Troubleshooting

  • No customers showing?

    • Confirm order statuses in Blanxer (Delivered vs. Processing/Dispatched).

    • Re-check access token and storeId in ai.blanxer.tech → Settings.

    • Log out/in on both apps and refresh.

  • Credit not detected?

    • Confirm you loaded credit in app.blanxer.com → BlanxerSMS.

    • Wait a few seconds and retry; the tool re-checks in real time.

Quick checklist (save this)

  • Load SMS credit in app.blanxer.com → BlanxerSMS.

  • Create account at ai.blanxer.tech and log in.

  • Copy access token + storeId from Local Storage of app.blanxer.com.

  • Paste them into ai.blanxer.tech → Settings and save.

  • Open BulkSMS → Use Plugin.

  • Filter Delivered Customers / Inactive Orders.

  • Compose SMS + add Store Name.

  • Pass credit check → Send.
