How to Set Up Blanxer’s Thermal Printer on a Mac

Setting up your Blanxer’s Thermal Printer on a Mac is straightforward and quick. Follow this step-by-step guide to get your printer up and running.

Important Note:

If macOS restricts the installation:


Go to System Preferences > Privacy & Security.

Scroll down to the bottom of the window.

Look for an “Allow” button under the Security section.

Click Allow and Open Anyway to bypass restrictions.

Return to the installation and continue the process.

Step 1: Download the Printer Driver

  1. Visit blanxersupply > Downloads page.

  2. Download the driver for macOS.

Step 2: Connect the Thermal Printer

  1. Plug in the printer to a power source.

  2. Use the provided USB cable to connect the printer to your Mac.

Step 3: Install the Driver

  1. Open the downloaded driver file.

  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.

Step 4: Configure Printer Settings

  1. Open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
