Accepting digital payments on your store shouldn’t take weeks of paperwork or custom code. With Blanxer QR Payments (Fonepay), you can go live without paying the usual Fonepay integration fee (NPR 25,000 + VAT) and without manual API work—while your business name still appears on the payer’s screen during checkout.

What this solution is

  • Powered by Fonepay. Customers can pay from any Fonepay-enabled wallet or mobile banking app by scanning a dynamic QR at your checkout.

  • No integration fee. Through Blanxer’s vendor arrangement, your business gets a Fonepay terminal without the standard NPR 25,000 + VAT integration charge.

  • Your brand on the payment screen. When buyers pay, your business name is displayed in their payment app.

  • Blanxer-managed processing. Payments are technically routed through Blanxer’s infrastructure for automation and tracking, and Blanxer charges a plan-based payment fee:

    • Basic: 3.9%

    • Premium: 3.0%

    • Business Plus: 3.0%

    • Platinum: 2.75%

  • Fully automated checkout. After a successful scan and pay, the order is created automatically—no need for customers to return to the site.

  • Instant notifications (optional). If BlanxerSMS is enabled, the buyer receives a confirmation SMS automatically.

What you need before you start

Have these documents ready for KYC verification inside Blanxer:

  • Business Registration Certificate

  • PAN Certificate

  • Authorized signatory details (to sign the Blanxer agreement and upload in-dashboard)

Part 1 — Enable Fonepay QR in Blanxer (One-Time Setup)

  1. Open Settings in your Blanxer dashboard
    Go to Settings → Business / Compliance and start KYC Verification.

  2. Upload KYC documents

    • Registration Certificate

    • PAN Certificate

    • Any other details prompted in the form

  1. Submit & wait for KYC approval
    Our team verifies your information. You’ll see status updates right inside the dashboard.

  2. Apply for Blanxer QR Payment
    After KYC is approved, head to Settings → Payments → Blanxer QR (Fonepay) and click Apply.

    • We’ll initiate the terminal creation with our payment vendor.

    • No separate API key request is required from your side.

  3. Activation & auto-integration
    Once approved, the Fonepay QR option appears automatically on your store’s checkout page—no code changes.

Part 2 — What your customers see at checkout

  1. Add to Cart → Checkout
    The buyer adds products to cart and proceeds to checkout.

  2. Choose “Fonepay QR”
    They select the Fonepay QR method.

  3. QR displayed on screen
    A dynamic QR appears. The buyer can scan from any Fonepay-compatible wallet or mobile banking app.

    • Your business name is shown in their payment app.
  4. Pay → Auto-confirmation
    After the buyer pays, the system auto-confirms the payment.

    • Order is created automatically (buyer doesn’t need to return to the site).

    • If BlanxerSMS is enabled, a confirmation SMS is sent instantly.

  5. Merchant dashboard updates
    In your Blanxer dashboard, the order appears with payment status and full details for processing and dispatch.

Fees & plans

  • Integration fee: Waived (vs. NPR 25,000 + VAT typically charged for direct Fonepay integration).

  • Payment fee by plan:

    • Basic: 3.9%

    • Premium: 3.0%

    • Platinum: 2.75%

Tip: Upgrading your plan reduces per-transaction fees.

Reconciling orders & payments

  • All-in-one dashboard: View order details, payment status, and fulfillment in one place.

  • No manual matching: Because the QR is dynamic per order, the payment links to the right order automatically.

  • Settlements: Your payments are settled weekly, every Friday, and are automatically deposited directly into your bank account.

  • Future Upgrades: Soon, you’ll be able to withdraw your payouts instantly from the dashboard. Just click two buttons, and the amount will be deposited into your account within minutes. (Withdrawal charges may apply.)

Q: Is there any difference between integrating Fonepay directly vs. through Blanxer?
A: Functionally no. With Blanxer, the integration fee is waived and activation is faster. The customer still sees your business name in their payment app.

Q: Which wallets/banks work?
A: Any Fonepay-enabled wallet or mobile banking app that supports QR payments.

Q: How long does activation take?
A: After you complete KYC and apply in Settings → Payments, our team initiates terminal creation with the vendor. Activation follows once verification is done.

Q: Do customers have to return to the website after payment?
